Endless Summer

This file was made a while back. It was modeled after a t-shirt I saw while on a trip. It works great for an album cover, but can be resized to accent any page in an album. Frame pictures of your trip and add as an accent. Bring out your scrap book and make a LO for those pictures you always wanted to display, but never got around to it. Enjoy!

Sewing

Here is one for all those that love to sew, or know of someone who does. It's a great way to frame pictures of your handiwork, or create a thank-you card for someone who has tailored your clothes. Thank them with a little handiwork yourself! Enjoy!

Easter Sunday

I'm sure we have several pictures we took that need a place to call home. With our Easter hats and sun dresses, the LO needs to look good. Well, here is a file that can serve as the title for such a LO. Pick colors that fit the pictures to be used. Use textured paper like the ones sold on some of the sites shown below. Don't be shy, show me what you came up with. Enjoy!

Tiki Time

Well, spring is almost here, and summer will soon follow. Soon we will be making party invites. Should you think of using a tiki, then you may have just found one. I found this one and have tweaked it to cut just right. You will need a sticky mat and a sharp blade if you cut it small. Use textured paper and you will make an unforgettable decoration. Don't forget to send me a picture! Enjoy!

Forever Yours

Well, Valentine's Day is here again, and we all need something special to make right? Well, I don't know that I can help you, but here is what I made for this special day. How about some flowers? I thought about using metallic paper for this one, but still not sure what the final one will look like. I have looked through the vendor websites here on my blog and have found several nice papers I could use. Except, its too late to order. Good thing for our local crafts stores! I'll be shopping today. Let me know what you were able to come up with. Send pics! Enjoy!

50th Anniversary

While I was browsing through the SCAL community forum, I came across a post request for a 50th Anniversary .svg file. It got me in the creative mood and I came up with a little something. Wow, 50 years, how do you honor that? You can't throw cute puppies an butterflies, or bright colors.. they are beyond that. Then I thought, Less IS More! Sure we can add every flower and butterfly from our library, but sometimes the details get lost in the layers upon layers of of embellishments. Have you ever tried buying a greeting card and you pick out the brightest and busiest card out, but always seem to put it back? At first glance they stand out, but the one that makes it into the shopping cart is the one that conveys your sentiments effectively without all the distractions? Well that's simply my thoughts, what do you think? The more we know, the better our craft. By the way, I hope the requester is successful, no matter what she creates! Enjoy!
